Stock for Sale

Due to the current situation with Covid-19 we are closed, we do not have stock for sale current and can not post hatching eggs (this is not essential travel)

We have a lot of livestock depending on us staying well and this is our priority.

Rhode Island Red

My Rhode Island Reds are large fowl, these do also have a bantam counterpart.

They are another American breed but are very popular as they lay so well and look good too. These are commonly crossed with Light Sussex to make a sexed link crossing where the hens and cockerels can be sexed at day olds as they hatch different colours and they produce an excellent lay as a result.

Barneverders

I breed Gold Double Laced and Blue Double Laced.

Barnevelders are a Dutch breed created from crossing a few breeds in the 19th Century.

They lay a lovely brown eggs and are medium to heavy breed. They are quite placid and good layers.

Exchequer Leghorns

A Rare Breed, these are such fantastic layers and have great personalities, unfortunately they have fallen by the wayside in favour of more fashionable breeds. They lay large white eggs, very friendly and inquisitive. I have kept Exchequer Leghorns for around 10 years now and have just increased the number in my breeding pen. I will soon also have Lavender Leghorns available

Columbian Pekin

Another of the Pekin colours here. These are a standardised colour. Good quality Columbians are hard to find. I have also been breeding Buff Columbians which are also hard to source.
